The Citroen 2CV Our Way

We were never big fans of the Citroen 2CV. We understand the whole culture created by this piece of automotive history, but none of our bells is rang by it. The list of other cars that would enter our dream garage before the 2CV is just to long to be placed here.

However, while putting the web browsing pedal to the metal (yes, we use metallic peripherals and write from an industrial warehouse), we came across this image that really managed to inspire us - we must thank speedhunters.com for publishing it.

As you can see, we are dealing with a duo of slammed 2CVs. Of course, other custom examples of the 2CV can be found in the background, but we’re not here to discuss that.

The two cars we are talking about seem to take the 2CV’s free spirit to a whole new level. And the rides just couldn’t be more different, The one one the left comes dressed in sky blue, using elements like a single yellow fog light (this is placed on the driver’s side), while the one on the road uses a rat-style appearance with a matte light brown finish. The latter also uses a red finish for the rims and tires with white sidewalls.

We can see it now: a city trip with these two, The event would include filling the cars with as many boys and girls as possible (and then adding some more) and cruising through the streets. This sure sounds like a lot of fun, or maybe it’s just us...
