The American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) has revealed the name of the Motorcyclist of the Year for 2013. The man of the moment is non other than AMA life member Larry Little.
A publisher for Cycle World for 25 years, Little is now vice president and general manager of Marketplace Events, and is the man who created the AIMExpo, America's biggest motorcycle industry and consumer show.

The debut of the AIMExpo shows this autumn brought together manufacturers and buyers and helped tightening the relationships in the industry, on both the B2B and B2C levels.

Little's endeavor was even more praiseworthy as the motorcycle market is still heavily affected by the economic crisis. Larry Little has been struggling to bring the European motorcycle show model to the US since the early 90's, but the local industry was very reluctant to the idea.

However, time proved that Little was right and the 2013 AIMExpo took place in Orlando, Florida October 16-20, becoming an instant success and a most important step from everything which was done in the past.
