You got to love the ‘80s for their blocky designed vehicles, looking like slightly designed bricks with chromed bars and lights. And one of the era representatives is the Toyota Trekker, which is based on the period’s Hilux Pickup chassis.
A top condition 1981 Toyota Treckker will soon go under the hammer and can be yours. It was restored in the true 80’s off-road craze and it bears an award winning Jet Black with custom Burgundy interior. More features include power steering and brakes, stereo, tinted windows, SR5 trim and a high performance 175 hp SOHC four-cylinder engine.
The engine got rebuilt too and now features Weber carburetor, a custom intake manifold as well as a performance camshaft and header. The vehicle has done only a few test-drives since its restoration.
