It looks like 2014 will be a very interesting year for the Indian market as more and more bikes which usually were a treat for the Western markets will be available in India. The latest big-bore beast announced to start selling in India is Suzuki's M1800R B.O.S.S. also known in the US as Boulevard M190R B.O.S.S.
Now, the big blacked out Boulevard is indeed a very sweet machine, and it is one of the cruisers which lead the sales figures for Suzuki, but the price it will retail for in India may be a bit disheartening to some of the Hamamatsu manufacturers' machines.
According to Autocar, the price ex-showroom for the 1,783cc motorcycle is expected to reach almost double the same figure in the US. That is Indian will have to fork out $26, 770 (€19,585) for the big Intruder, some $815 (€595) more than the price of the series model.
The B.O.S.S. (Blacked Out Special Suzuki) comes in the same nifty black and bright yellow color scheme and will be imported as a CBU, hence the brutal price. However, the lucky guys who will get to ride it will surely be in for quite a head-turning business.
