Here’s what you want to know about this event. Rare beauties such as a Ferrari 250 SWB and Aston Martin DB5 along with celebrities like ex-Top Gear Stig Ben Collins and England rugby legend Lewis Moody will all get together to burn some rubber. The rally will cover “100 miles of Hope,” from Brooklands in Surrey to Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire.
Because driving the best in both classic and modern era gets a lot better when you can also have some famous people along. And what makes for a must-attend occasion is the charity factor. In other words, you know that all the opulence, the extravaganza and the hundred-thousand-dollars vehicles are there to help others. That, and to entertain, of course.

As we said, a host of stars from film, TV and sport will come together with a dream line-up of classic cars this July to support the Hope Classic Rally. The proceeds go towards HopeHIV, a charity helping children and young adults in sub-Saharan Africa who are courageously battling through the challenges of lives affected by HIV and AIDS.

In what is the celebrity list concerned, we’ll also mention “For The Love of cars” presenter Ant Anstead, England rugby legend Lewis Moody and legendary racing driver Peter Blond. As to the rare breeds, the list comprises of a huge line-up of which we underline the following: a Porsche 911 2.7 RS, Aston Martin V8 Vantage, Mercedes 300SL Gullwing, a Lotus Elite Type 14 and Austin Healey 3000.

We listed the press release for those who want further details on the event. We can’t but tip our hats to the organizers.
