Jenn's R2D2 helmet is not exactly breaking news, but when it comes to Star Wars, I really doubt that someone will dare utter the word "old". And what's even better is that Jenn is a very pretty girl with a creative mind, so we're definitely in for some cool things from her.
Now, if you see a girl wearing Darth Vader print leggings, you should know things are dead-serious. So serious that she will be looking for a Star Wars-themed scooter helmet. And since we already said she was a creative person, an R2D2 DIY helmet only seems a natural consequence. Pretty is as pretty does, the gallery after the jump will have this explained in a most clear way.
She begun by sanding out this half helmet and then priming it to receive the silver paint base. According to Jenn, the tape design was a painstaking task as it was done without a compass. However the result is great, and the final blue paint went in perfectly.
Jenn added multiple layers of clear coating to seal in the design and add a shiny finish to her new lid, while adding a "lighting gadget" of her own secret design, of which the only known detail is that it contains a piece of PVC pipe.
