Nowadays, you really can't get a good picture of what's going on in the auto business without spyshots and leaked images. Automakers intentionally let us see their yet unrevealed cars just to make sure the rumor mill keeps turning.
Mercedes is guilty of letting slip more than a few of its secrets, and we've managed to spot the new C-Class more times than we can remember. Not like this though, as this W205 has clearly been completely de-camouflaged. Sparkly clean paint and large alloy wheels can only mean one thing: it's being prepared for a photo shoot, which means a full reveal is about a month away (that's how long it takes to process the images).

So, since this is the very first time we've been able to so much of the car, let's talk about the design. In typical Mercedes tradition, the new C-Class is a baby S-Class, just like the last one. Two crisp lines down the side of the car look almost exactly the same as the do on the W222 limousine.

The taillights peaking from behind that very thin white camo tells exactly the same story, with a cluster that almost looks like it's horizontal, giving the impression of a longer car.

We believe this particular C-Class could be the new C400 model, equipped with a new 3-liter biturbo V6, since it's customary to show the best possible car in the press photos.
