People often complain that BMW makes cars you buy for the numbers, not with your heart, but that's not true at all. Take the X6, for example. It's not particularly fast, as comfortable as you'd expect an SUV to be and space in the back is very limited. However, it's so cool that many people buy it without even a test drive.
There is one version of the X6 that's not slow though, and that's the X6 M, which demands even more respect though power and prestige. Now there's a new version of that car coming, based on the same platform as the all-new F15 X5 and we have spy photos to prove it!
In pure numbers, the new X6 M is almost exactly the same size as the old one, only slightly lighter and still powered by a twin-turbo V8 engine. However, the design is what drives this car into the futures. A new LED headlight system, wider kidney grilles and a plenty of character lines make this the ideal Russian mobster's car.
Speaking of Russia, that's where the new X6 will debut, at the 2014 Moscow Motor Show in August. However, this M version might be a year or so away, since creating an engaging sportscar out of a soft SUV is not as simple as adding a bigger engine.
