Our spy photographers have snapped something we’ve been wanting to see to see for a while now. Mercedes will tell us that they’ve changed everything about the E-Class when the the facelift comes out next year. But will it really be that different inside?
This first interior photo shows that not much has changed. This interior belongs to the E-Class Estate, so the steering wheel is the non-sport four-spoke design, which appears to have changed. The buttons are no longer arrange in a circle and there’s a little gap under the center for when you press the horn.

The gages look about the same and so does the dash with one small exception. Mercedes seems to have redesigned the air vents a bit, with new trim and what looks like an analog clock in between. The hazard and ESP buttons have been moved below the radio, which is also unchanged.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
