Believe it or not, Lexus has received a lot of orders for the CT 200h compact hatch, and as a result of this and the increased demand for small crossovers, the company wants to fill the niche beneath the RX.
The model which will do that is called the NX, or rather will be called the NX when it makes its debut.

This is just a test mule spotted recently by our spy photographers. Underneath the camo is mostly just CT bodywork for now, but the NX will likely have fresh styling to attract young buyers.

We know this The Japanese automaker has trademarked two new models in the US called the NX 200t and NX300h. One is likely to have a small four-cylinder turbo engine, a first for the Lexus model range. The other is going to have the same transversely mounted 2.5-liter Atkinson cycle and an electric module powered from nickel-metal battery as the ES 300h.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
