It's no longer a rumor, BMW will definitely be revising the 5 Series GT along with the current 5 Series Sedan model. The LCI versions are expected to be launched this year and the changes will definitely be subtle.
Spy photographers caught up with the Gran Tourismo version of the 5er in China and took some snapshots of the upcoming model. Judging by the camouflage and where it's placed, it's pretty obvious where the changes will be done.
When it was released, back in 2009, the 5er GT was widely criticized for it's massive rear end and the bulky looks. Now, BMW wants to change that it will definitely be reshaping the design of the rear fascia.
Other changes might include some new engines and some interior design cues (including the much awaited iDrive touch) that will give the Bimmer another chance at charming some more customers.
