The facelifted version of the Mercedes GL is set to enter the market next year, with the vehicle now being in the final testing phases. Thus, we deiced to send out our team of spy shooters in order to find out what Merc is preparing for us.
The 2013 GL is still wearing enough camo, but we can see a pair of more angular headlights, a slightly redesigned front bumper, as well as a refreshed front grille. Moving to the rear of the SUV, we find new taillights, a redesigned tail gate, as well as a bolder roof spoiler.
As for the tech side, the GL should receive Mercedes’ new MOVE family of direct-injected V6 and twin-turbo V8 powerplants. However, we don;’t have any exact information yet.
Our say: we'd be much more interested if the "L" was dropped from the designation of the spied vehicle.
