Spiderman + Inception = Hyundai Accent New Ad Campaign

The 2012 Hyundai Accent is a practical and economical car, but it doesn't quite capture the imagination, so the South Korean carmaker has launched a cool new viral ad campaign for the car. Long story short: the videos created under the slogan “New Thinking. New Possibilities." are really awesome. What makes the two videos we found on the company's Youtube channel really interesting is the fact that they actually feature the car, suspended on a wall.

The 'driver' than abseils down the side of the building and gets in as if nothing out of the ordinary is happening. The really amazing thing is that even though this is a video, the optical illusion is almost complete.

At the same time, a film is projected on the wall in a stile that resembles the recent blockbuster Inception. We would dare to even say that there are a few shots inspired by another Hollywood movie, Tron (those excellent glow effects).

Sporting a new design that draws directly from the latest Sonata, the Accent also gets a new platform and a choice of efficient engines with either a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission.

It comes fitted with numerous safety features, including six airbags (two front impact airbags, two front seat-mounted side impact airbags, and curtain side-impact airbags for front and rear passengers), active front head restraints and seatbelt pretensioners, Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and Traction Control, Vehicle Stability Management (VSM) and motor-drive power steering (MDPS).

Standard features include a 6-way adjustable driver's seat, tilt steering wheel, power door locks, power heated mirrors and remote keyless entry. Options include a 6-speaker audio system, Bluetooth, cruise control, heated front seats and a power sunroof.
