After actor Paul Walker's tragic death in November, speculation was rampant about the future of the Fast and Furious franchise. It seemed that it would not survive the loss of one of its leading characters, but Vin Diesel last month made it official that the seventh installment of the movie is still going to happen and will be out in August 2015.
"How? Surely Walker didn't finish filming all his scenes," we thought to ourselves. Speculation has been rampant, with some suggesting CGI will be used while others that his doppelganger brother would stand in for him. Further light was shed on the subject today by a report that claims Brian O'Conner, the role Walker plays in the movie, will be gracefully retired in such a way that would allow the movie to continue.
We'll remind you that actor Paul Walker passed away in November last year, during a crash that official reports say happened at over 100 miles per hour. The Porsche Carrera GT he was a passenger almost hit in half after hitting a pole and a tree.
