Schumacher's Future With Ferrari to be Decided at Monza

As more and more people become interested in Michael Schumacher's future with Formula One, it was just revealed that the German's contract as advisor for the Scuderia wasn't yet extended.

About the time Schumacher was announced to substitute the injured Massa for this season, some allegations were made that he signed a contract extension beyond 2009 with Ferrari for the same advisor position.

Now, Schumacher's agent, Willi Weber told Abendzeitung the talks with the Maranello based team regarding Michael's future with Ferrari will be held behind the scenes at the forthcoming Monza Grand Prix.

"At the race in Monza something will happen", said Willi Weber about Schumacher's upcoming negotiations with the Italian team.

Michael seems to be eager to further test the Ferrari F60 car this year, which can only be exciting news for his numerous fans or just people who appreciate him.

Schumacher's Formula One comeback was sparked earlier this year by Massa's unfortunate accident and soon found support in some of the most diverse social categories, from Ferrari fans, to Schumacher's fans and even middle aged people who were animated by the idea of an "outdated" racing driver taking on the young "wolves" in the most prestigious motorsport competition.

One thing is certain though, the upcoming talks with Ferrari must surely take into consideration a balanced schedule for the German who said before he desires to spend more time with his family.
