Saab 9-3X UK Pricing Announced

This is probably the only Saab report this week that isn't at all related to the economic recession and to the difficult situation the company is currently living in. Well, the Swedish company has just announcing pricing for the 9-3X, a model that was revealed to the world for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show this year.

There will be four different configurations available, two 1.9TTiD Diesel and two 2.0T XWD Petrol, equipped with either a manual or an automatic transmission. Pricing starts at £24,995.00 for the 1.9-liter option featuring a manual gearbox and go as high as £27,506.28 for the 2.0-liter unit with automatic transmission.

And to get to more technical details, the 1.9TTiD diesel engine generates 180PS and 400Nm of torque, while the 2.0-litre petrol turbocharged four-cylinder unit, featuring Saab's Cross Wheel Drive system (XWD), provides 210 hp.

There are several features offered as standard on any of the aforementioned configurations, including leather & textile sport seats, heated front seats, cruise control, 9-speaker audio system with MP3 compatibility, sport leather steering wheel, dual-zone electronic climate control, car computer, matt chrome roofrails and 17” alloy wheels.

Furthermore, the 2.0-liter T engine brings ESP and ABS, as well as the aforementioned cross-wheel drive (XWD) system designed by Saab.

The new 9-3X will go on sale in authorized dealerships in the United Kingdom this month, with first units likely to be delivered in August. The 9-3X will be also showcased at Saab’s campaign in the SAAB Salomon Trail Running Series 2009 that begins on May 15, the company announced in a release.
