However, this video shows that roadworks do take place in Russia, despite the fact that they do not leave pedestrians with any alternative to cross the road.
These pedestrians have no choice but to cross the road over the freshly poured tarmac, and this can only mean one thing - some of them will definitely not make it with all their shoes to the other side. In the ‘civilized world’, there would literally be hundreds of “Do Not Walk on the Hot Tarmac” signs littering the sidewalk, not that it would be too difficult to figure out that crossing the road would not be a very good idea.
