As you can imagine, Mr. Bean is not just another role for Rowan Atkinson, with the actor borrowing many of the character’s attitude and plating them deep inside his own “profile”. At the same time, Atkinson is also a huge automotive fan and thus was there to witness the inaugural Formula One Indian Grand Prix over the weekend.
Atkinson gave us an example that sustains the opening statement of this article during the event: when McLaren driver Lewis Hamilton and Ferrari racer Felipe Massa crashed, Mr. Bean surfaced, with the accident triggering some sort of a volcanic reaction inside Atkinson, which was as funny as funny can be.
