The internet is dripping with videos of riders running the red and crashing very badly, and more are being added every day. However, this doesn't seem to make too many riders driver in a more responsible way, and I guess videos such as this one will appear tomorrow, and the day after tomorrow, and the day after the day after... forever.
It's always fascinating to think about what these riders have for a plan as they decide that entering the junction through the red light could work. Are they thinking about being "lucky", or maybe they believe they're fast enough to pass the intersection before others cross their way?
Funny how the "I'm faster, anyway" idea leads in fact to more severe accidents, with the increased speed nullifying the already minimal chances of making it safe back home. And even more than hurting themselves and destroying their bikes and scooters, such idiotic actions injure other people and cause more property damage. Definitely not a fair trade for a 60-second wait...
