Renault Will Launch R30 on January 31

Renault F1 Team will present their 2010 challenger before the official winter testing kick-off for the upcoming season of Formula One. More exactly, as confirmed by the Enstone based organization via a press release, the R30 will be made available to the media on January 31, less than 24 hours before the Valencia test.

Nevertheless, the French-Luxembourg team will make it to the Ricardo Tormo circuit on February 1st, as the car launch media event will take place at the very circuit where the maiden winter test will take place.

According to the press release from Renault F1 Team, the car launch will kick off at 16.30 PM local time, and will be presented by the newly appointed team manager of the Enstone operations, Eric Boullier. Shortly after the photo session, the reporters will also have the chance to ask some questions to Renault F1's new majority stake owner Gerard Lopez, the Chairman of Genii Capital.

Earlier this month, BMW Sauber also announced that it will launch their 2010 car at the Valencia circuit in Spain, during the same January 31st date.

The announcement from Renault does nothing but confirm the fact that all the established F1 teams will make the February 1st deadline in terms of car launches, with the exception of the two Red Bull-backed teams Red Bull Racing and Scuderia Toro Rosso. The newly-entrant teams of F1 have all confirmed launch dates in the first 2 weeks of February.

Renault are yet to announce whether they'll come to the Spanish circuit only with confirmed driver Robert Kubica or a second driver. The team is yet to announce the Pole's teammate for the 2010 season, and it's expected that the announcement will hit the headlines soon enough (or else the team will deprive their new driver or 3 valuable testing days prior to the 2010 campaign).
