Prindiville is one the UK’s premier auto customizers and coach builders, and since the company’s establishment twelve years ago, the range of activities that they do has grown considerably. They also pride themselves with their attention to detail, saying it is “the bedrock of everything they do” - a very good company philosophy, we say.
Now, they have made a custom EV, with styling based on the now-defunct Hummer brand, and more specifically, its H2. The vehicle itself is very compact in size and features a maximum range of around 60 miles (just short of 100 km). It will be made in very limited numbers (only 25) and it sells for around £25,000 / $40,000.

The ‘Electric Hummer’ was specifically designed to be used as a daily driver for people who only do business in the city, yet require a special-looking vehicle with green credentials. Also, being built by Prindiville, each example will be highly-customizable, with each customer specifying their own personal and particular requirements.

According to Truska Angel, CEO of the company, “in parallel to being one the world’s leading luxury coach builders, we are fully aware of our responsibility to offer motorists sustainable choices through the provision of exciting transport solutions in this evolving electric sector. The new model is clearly a step in the right direction and the beginning of an exciting journey which promotes individual styling preferences, fun, and an all-important sustainable lifestyle. This is clear evidence that greener choices do not have to compromise luxury and beautiful design.”
