Porsche UK Offers Complimentary Checks for All Porsche Cabriolets

It seems that supercar producers are racing to bring... servicing offers to their customers. Earlier today, we told you about Ferrari’s 7-year free scheduled maintenance plan. Now, it’s Porsche’s turn to enter the spotlights, with the German company’s UK division announcing that it is offering all topless models, regardless of age, a complimentary vehicle inspection on June 4.

The initiative uses the “Porsche Cabriolet and Roadster Service Clinic” name and follows the first edition of the program, which was held in October last year, inspecting over 500 911s.

The national Porsche Cabriolet and Roadster Service Clinic provides owners with a complimentary inspection of their car and the opportunity to accompany the technician in the state of the art workshop at their local Porsche Centre. These Service Clinics will also provide customers with information and advice to ensure that the operation of the hood folding mechanism is correct and that the roof remains wind and weather-proof. Further checks will ensure the expected safety, reliability, and performance levels of their cars are maintained,” a company statement explains.

The June 4 Service Clinics are scheduled to be held just one week ahead of the Le Mans 24 Hours race weekend in France. Thus, each participating Porsche Centre will hold a prize draw, offering participants the chance to win a 1:43 scale model 917, hand signed by 1970 Le Mans winner Richard Attwood, two pieces of Porsche Aluframe Luggage, and a Porsche Cabriolet Car Care Kit. In addition to this, by entering the program, owners can make sure that their vehicle is ready for a trip to the famous endurance event.
