Among other things, Porsche used the LA Auto Show to announced its future West Coast Experience Center, a facility aimed at introducing visitors to a complete Porsche experience alongside a similar facility announced for Atlanta.
The site, which will be opened in Southern California soon, will offer a paved race track, an off-road testing area (Porsche relies on the Cayenne to survive, remember?), a low-friction skid pad, as well as non-automotive areas dedicated to meetings.
And it’s not just about cars - the facility will also include the Porsche Human Performance Center, which brings a laboratory dedicated to making the most out of your body. The West Coast Experience Center, which is located in LA, close to the intersection of freeways 405 and 110, is scheduled to be inaugurated in spring next year.
