German sportscar manufacturer Porsche has release a new batch of photos of the LMP1 prototype that will try to capture Audi’s crown at next year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans race.
Even though the vehicle is still camouflaged, the images provide a better glimpse at what the yet unnamed race car will like. Besides the new quad-LED headlamp configuration, also seen on new Porsche models, the racer also sports thin LED tailllights and the longitudinal fin already found on other LMP1 cars.
Porsche has yet to reveal technicalities or any kind of info for that matter, but we do know that the Germans will tackle the 2014 World Endurance Championship and the 24 Hours of Le Mans with Australian driver Mark Webber behind the wheel.
Stick around for more details and in the mean time check out Porsche’s new LMP1 dedicated website.
