Porsche Cayman R Explained with an Accent

The Porsche Cayman isn’t as luxurious and spacious as the Cayenne, nor is it as powerful as a 911 Turbo, but it its the only mass-market mid-engined car they offer right now, and it gets even better if you’re talking about the more hardcore ‘R’ version.
And so Porsche has decided to raise awareness of the car by releasing a new video staring Porsche UK's Chief Driving Consultant, Gordon Robertson. He’s got a nice shirt and watch, so he looks like a Porsche driver of the real wold, but we’re not interested in that nor are we going to talk about the heavy accent.

Instead, we’ll remind you that the Cayman R is a lightened version of the regular car and that it boasts an impressive 330 horsepower from its 3.4-liter flat-six. The standard manual version is good for 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 5.0 seconds. Porsche also offers the optional Sport Chrono package, which takes it to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.7 seconds.
