The Porsche Cayenne Diesel is both a bitter and sweet vehicle for the German premium brand. Of course, it will bring sales to a new level, but it has also delivered a hard blow to the carmaker’s image, as it is one of those “things” most of us could’ve sworn that Porsche will never create.
However, it seems that a little sugar can be added to this controversy: the British tuner Kahn had decided to develop a complex tuning package for the diesel SUV and rename the car as the “Porsche Cayenne Kahn Super Sport Tiptronic”
The kit, destined for the 957 Cayenne (outgoing model) dresses the vehicle in a complete body kit, comprising of a front bumper addition that comes with additional air intakes, new fog lamps and features a bold design, a set of headlight eyelids, fresh side skirts and a rear bumper addition, which follows the same lines as the one used for the front of the vehicle.
The SUV’s 3.0 liter TDI engine, which originally produced 240 hp was tweaked to develop 300 hp. However, the tuning company has not released the new torque figure (this has a special importance, considering that we are speaking about a diesel unit).
The Porsche Cayenne Kahn Super Sport Tiptronic uses a 30mm lowered suspension and rides on Kahn 22 inch rims. Customers can choose from a wide variety of wheel designs.
The interior of the Cayenne has received an exquisite treatment and now features two tone (black and red) quilted leather, billet machined sport pedals, Kahn stainless steel sill plates, floor puddle lights, white trimmings and a bespoke instrument cluster.
