We don’t really care if it’s the year of the dragon or that of the jumping monkey-donkey-rabbit hybrid, but for whatever reason another good car has been desecrated by the Chinese with gold foil wrap. The owner of this 911 Carrera 4S probably wanted his car to be some sort of good luck charm but all we see is a life-sized toy.
Admittedly, foil car wrapping is a new technology that has not become so mainstream that everybody knows what this is. So normal Chinese motorists driving three-wheelers and copies of European cars might think this is actually gold plating. If we remember correctly, one Arab millionaire coated his car with actual gold, but we still don’t see the point.

Besides the wrap job, this Porsche also has blacked-out taillights, a big fixed rear wing and gold-lipped wheels.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
