About a month ago, we were telling you about Pininfarina announcing an "innovative and exclusive" concept car for Geneva, designed as a tribute to the company's Honorary Chairman, Sergio Pininfarina.
The Italians provided a teaser shot and very few details of the new Sergio-named vehicle and then disappeared just to get back as the Swiss event is eagerly waiting to open its doors.

So what's this Sergio concept car all about? First of all, it's a two-seater barchetta, which is not exactly a surprise considering Pininfarina's tradition over the years. Then there's the sharp-nosed design with no windshield or doors and we can suddenly look back to the 1970s but still have a modern concept on our hands.

The Italians described it as "a concept car which renews the spirit of the extraordinary achievements born under Sergio Pininfarina's guide, projecting them towards the future in the name of exclusivity, innovation and passion." Ah yes, this has Sergio written all over it!

The real deal will be unveiled tomorrow in Geneva and that's when well get more info on car and pass it on to you right away.
