Milan-based Italian manufacturer Paton, an old name in motorcycle racing announces the first street-legal machine, the S1.
The Patton S1 is based on Kawasaki's ER-6n, but the final build is a truly new bike. Harking back to the old days of road racing, the Paton S1 comes with a welded steel tube frame made in-house, which accommodates the ER-6n engine and other bike parts.
Underneath the retro fairing, the Paton S1 still retains adjustable Ohlins dual rear shocks and all the high-tech the house of Akashi is endowing their new bike with. Add in the adjustable USD forks and the revised riding position for a bigger picture of the Paton S1.
The rear cowl embeds Suzuki SV650 LED tail lights and compliant exhaust: as we were telling you in the beginning, the Paton S1 is a true street legal machine. The S1 is expected to be manufactured in small series, 50-100 bike a year and will be available for around €21,000 ($28,555).
Paton is also working on a racing kit to turn your Kawasaki ER-6n into a track beast.
