Launched back in 1997, the Gran Turismo franchise quickly became addictive to all those enthusiasts that wanted to drive the latest cars in the world, no matter what. The game offered them this chance, even though only in a virtual world.
Its creator, Kazunori Yamauchi met up with BMW’s M people at the Ascari track in Southern Spain today, to announce that the latest version of the game, the Gran Turismo 6, will be featuring the Germans’ brand new M4 Coupe, the car that will be replacing the M3 Coupe model.
Not only that but, to show the man the respect he deserves, he even got to go for a ride inside a prototype of the upcoming car, whilst Florian Staiger, Development Engineer Team Member for the BMW M was behind the wheel.
Apart from the M4, other BMWs will also be featured, including the 1957 507, E92 M3, E92 M3 GT, M3 GT2, Z4 GT3 and Z8.
