Noble M600 650 BHP Supercar Unveiled

British manufacturer Noble released today the first photos of their newest project, the M600, prior to the official presentation scheduled for mid-next month. Even if it costs some £200,000, twice as much as the previous model in Noble's stables, the M600 promises to "neither dictate or hinder with unnecessary Computer assistance."

Meaning the M600 experience will only be about the driver, the car and the open road. On Noble's website, they ask a simple question: Can you handle it? We're not sure if they mean the price of the car or its performances, but...

The M600 is powered by a Volvo-sourced 4.4l V8 engine, fitted with twin Garrett turbochargers. It offers three outputs, 450, 550 and 650 hp
respectively, with maximum torque rated at 618 lb.-ft. The M600 is capable of reaching 60 mph in 3 seconds flat, 100 mph in 6.5 seconds and keeps on going until it reaches 225 mph (362 km/h).

As you read above, Noble built the M600 for the driver to enjoy. Even if it is fitted with some safety systems currently in use in the industry, Noble provides the driver with the choice of not using them. For instance, traction control can be completely deactivated; of course, there is the other side of the coin: the M600 has no ESP or ABS... Even if it is a sports car, no paddle shifters will be made available for the 6-speed manual gearbox, so the driver will have to use the good old stick...

The official presentation of the M600 will take place on September 19, at Goodwood Revival.
