Nissan Goes Loco Moco

A new dish has been cooked in the Nissan Japanese laboratories and it is now getting ready to hit the market with its square edges, bringing the Moco name in its third generation. The minicar, already on sale in Japan, brings both a renewed engine lineup and a more different style than the version released in February 2006.

Visually, the model received a taste of new with the addition of sharper headlights, a new solid-looking wide grille and front bumper and ark line accented combination lights at the rear. The Moco can be colored in six pigments, four of which are brand new.

On the interior, the Moco received a bright piano-black finisher flavor, with several other gadgets improving the comfort of the passengers and the driver: Fine Vision Meter, AM/FM radio/CD player with a 4.3-inch color display and touch panel and RearView Monitor.

Engine wise, the new Moco is powered by a newly developed R06A engine, also available with a turbo version. The units are paired to a Continuously Variable Transmission, equipped with a sub-transmission for increased gear ratios.

The Moco will be made available in three main courses, S/S FOUR, X/X FOUR and G/G FOUR. Prices start from 1,079,400 yen ($12,956) and can reach 1,510,950 yen ($18,135). Below is a short list of other features you'll get for that money:
