We love the new Lexus IS, but maybe we needed that extra bit of input to discover exactly why. That came today as Gazoo TV reviewed by IS 350 F Sport. Now, it might seem a little biased to show a Japanese car reviewed by a Japanese website, but that's not strictly the case. Customers in the land of the rising sun can now buy Volkswagens, BMWs and Mercedes, cars that seem exotic to them and aren't that overpriced any more.
What's more Lexus was designed as an American brand, and the IS with its big V6 engine has very limited appeal in Japan. But still, the IS was always a good car and this one is 100% better, as Gazoo TV puts it.

Gazoo found that the steering system is immensely helped by the Lexus Dynamic Handling system, inspiring confidence in the corners. The grip is also better than before, which the Japanese are only too glad to demonstrate on a winding road.

The new IS 350 F Sport is every bit the car it's supposed to be and nothing more, which has always been the Toyota way. Let's just hope it proves to be as popular as the new GS launched last year.
