Brian Dunn, the Associate Product Marketing Manager for Polyphony Digital, has issued a statement about the latest downloadable content for Gran Turismo 5. The big news among the packs available next Tuesday, January 17th, is the availability of Lamborghini’s new crown jewel, the 700 horsepower Aventador.
To get your chance to play with the mighty supercar, you’ll have to fork over $5.99 for Car Pack 3, which also includes the Jaguar XJR-9 LM racecar, Aston Martin V12 Vantage, the 66′ Volkswagen 1200, Mini Cooper S Countryman, and the new Nissan Leaf.
The second DLC pack to be released is a Speed Test Course Pack featuring the Route X test course, the one that was used in the recent video featuring the Acura NSX Concept trailer. This is a massive banked oval track with awesome scenery that allows you to test the top speed of your car if you pay $3.99 for the pack.
