The Lexus LFA, Japan’s katana in supercars matters, sadly exited production in December last year, after only 500 units were handbuilt by the skillful craftsmen in the Motomachi plant.
Until Lexus will make up their mind over continuing to make another batch of LFAs or not, we’ll take a look at Motor Trend’s montage of their visit at the automaker’s plant just before the last supercar was produced.
The Lexus LFA benefits from Toyota/Lexus’ latest technologies and it was created by a small dedicated team of engineers, using a true “built from scratch” design from which they managed to make a car like no other to wear the Lexus badge.
Asked how it is to drive the LFA, Lexus chief engineer Haruhiko Tanahashi clearly pointed out what feeling you get behind its wheel, by saying it’s like “being on date that is going very well.”
With that in mind, we’ll let you enjoy the video down bellow and see what the people responsible for making this legendary car have to say about it.
