The fact that animals don’t like cars at all is a well-known fact. They probably hate the noise and the smell much more than we do, and so they go to extreme lengths to try to ‘eliminate’ the intruders.
This moose, from Russia, stumbles onto a highway in a very disoriented manner and then charges the side of a Volvo XC90 which was traveling at highway speeds - at least it wasn't a camel, this time.
The impact throws the moose spectacularly into the air, and we truly hope no harm came to it, because it would have been ‘our fault’, since the highway was undoubtedly going right through the middle of its natural habitat.
This reminds us of another incident, but one with an animal which has a bit more power - a bison slams his horn into the side of a car, ripping off its bumper and causing surprisingly serious damage.
