Since the cold weather is going to be with us for a while, Tesla thought that Model S clients might appreciate playing in the snow when the opportunity arises. Without any further comment, here’s what Tesla believes a winter road trip should look like.
Having just finished a 340-mile trip from San Jose to California with only one charge on their Roadster 3.0 Upgrade, Tesla officials might have realized that the weather outside may not be ideal for your usual summer drive. To put it briefly, it’s damn cold out there. Not to mention the snow, the ice and all that.

But have no fear, Model S P85D is here, ready to help you tackle these harsh conditions. In fact, what Tesla wants you to know is that their car’s setup is better than others have to offer.

More exactly, what you really need to remember after seeing this video is that each Model S motor is lighter, smaller and, of course, more efficient than any other complex mechanical linkage used by conventional all-wheel drive cars. So forget about them. Obliterate them. Kill them with fire.

Now, while there’s no doubt about the fact that a lot of efficiency is thrown to waste when the aforementioned conventional all-wheel drive vehicles are required to favor all weather traction, we wouldn’t suggest going on a fun ride on ice or snow in a P85D unless you really, REALLY, know what you’re doing.

Otherwise, the fairytale might abruptly end, either in a ditch, a tree or even worse, sleeping with the fishes. Anyway, you need to watch the video below in order to get an understanding of how you should drive a Tesla Model S in winter conditions, without leaving your comfort zone.
