Even though the 2014 MINI Cooper didn’t yet make it to showrooms in Germany (or anywhere else in the world for that matter) it doesn’t mean that the car can’t win a couple of prizes, right?
The readers of the most popular German auto magazine, auto motor und sport, selected the new MINI as the Best Import vehicle of 2014.
Actually, the competition was scarce, the second place car claiming less than half of the votes. With 28.7 percent of the votes, the MINI continues its winning streak in this category and posted an honorable 3rd place in the Mini Segment too, just behind the Opel Adam and Volkswagen Up.
The award reached its 38th edition this year, becoming one of the oldest public polls in the automotive sector. This year, more than 115,000 readers voted for the ‘Best Car’ of 2014.
