MINI USA's 'Not Normal' sales event was the host for unveiling a one of a kind MINI last October. Back then, the officials unveiled the creation of the MINI USA Eastern Region, a Convertible MINI 'boat'.
This week, between 10 and 11 May, visitors of the 2013 Aberdeen Dad Vail Regatta will have the chance to look at the Chilli Red car/boat as it appears to be driving on the water along the Schuylkill River, for the annual festival of university and college rowing.

The weird creation has a 6 HP outboard motor and is made out of a fiberglass mold mounted to a boat hull and accessorized with authentic MINI parts like headlights, taillights, front grille, steering wheel, badges, wheels and even tires.

“MINI is known for being unconventional, and sponsorship at an event like the Aberdeen Dad Vail Regatta is an opportunity to make a lasting impression with attendees, and add value to the event by further increasing its fun factor,” said Laura Towey, Regional Business Manager, MINI USA.
