The top non-AMG version of the CLS Shooting Brake will be the 500. This car is powered by a 4.7-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that delivers 408 horsepower and a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) time of 5.3 seconds. That will make you feel like you’re untouchable on the road, but to rival BMW M, there will also be an AMG version.
This has now been officially teased in a mesmerizing video that reveals a bespoke interior with carbon fiber, perforated leather and more gadgets and dials than a submarine. The video also reveals 19-inch AMG wheels, matte paint and full LED headlights.

There’s no official information available right now, but the powertrain that motivates this beast will be the same 5.5-liter bi-turbo V8 with 530hp (537PS) at 5,500 rpm and 590 lb-ft (800Nm) of torque. With the optional AMG Performance Package, this will be boosted to 556bhp (564PS) and 664 lb-ft (900Nm) of torque.

That’s enough power and torque to push this 5-meter-long wagon to 100 km/h (62 mph) in about 4.5 seconds.
