We’ve just offered you the first pics of the new Mercedes-Benz C-Klasse Coupe and we’d like to stay in that area, so we’re bringing you a new Renntech modification package for the Mercedes-Benz CLK63 Black Series.
The American aftermakret developer is offering, among others, an aerodynamic pack for the extreme vehicle, making extensive use of carbon fiber.
“Until only recently, RENNtech has offered a line of proprietary, one-of-a-kind carbon fiber aerodynamic upgrades for the CLK Black Series to a small number of exclusive clientele; one of the first being Indy Car driver Tony Kanaan. We recently finished yet another complete package installation and are proud to announce them to market due to the increased interest and popularity of these products,” stated the press release.
“These components are the result of countless hours of design and testing by our in house design and engineering staff to integrate seamlessly within the original body work and offer significant improvements in vehicle performance and handling.”
Like we said, the car was hit by an explosion of carbon fiber, with the material being used for the front splitter, brake air ducts, air box, rear diffuses and DTM-style adjustable rear wing. The goodies can come in a matte or gloss finish.
The tuner has also performed a tech play session, installing front and rear adjustable camber bushings that allow the driver to play with the vehicle’s handling.
“Our proprietary rear suspension bushings allow drivers to adjust their car’s handling for different tracks and styles of driving, ensuring that the car’s tires maintain maximum grip for proper alignment, better braking, and improved cornering,” explained the press release.
