Mercedes tries a kind of a ying-yang approach, as it limited the color scheme to a black-and-white contrast. The idea is to be seen on both the exterior and the interior of the SLK, as calcite white or black paint intertwine all over the open top.
These colors come a standard, but the company can change them on request in obsidian black metallic or the special finish design mystic white. Your request however must come quickly, as this option is limited to 300 vehicles worldwide.
Paint job aside, the 2LOOK edition also offers some other changes to the basic design. The car is fitted with 18 inch 5 twin-spoke light alloy wheels with mixed tire sizes, 225/40 R18 for the front and 245/35 R18 for the back. The wheels maintain the line set by the body of the car, as they are available in either titanium black or dark chrome shadows.
On the interior, the nappa leather sportseats are designed to have white seat centre panels and black contoured bolsters. The multifunction steering wheel comes in black nappa leather with a white decorative seam, while the white trim in the black dashboard further emphasizes the 2LOOK design.
The edition is available for the SLK 200 Kompressor, SLK 300 and SLK 350 Sports Engine. The extra cost of the 2LOOK special edition is an extra 2,100 euros.
