The owner of the 2004 Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG you see in the adjacent images woke up one day, looked through the tuning rifle’s scoop and decided to shoot his car multiple times (we must thank stancenation for the details). At first, he aimed for the engine bay, threatening to hit the mighty V8 engine. And so he did.
The powerplant was shot with a I/C Johnson Pump, a custom exhaust that allows it to deliver a few extra horses and offers it a more menacing sound, a custom intake that brings fresh air into the cylinders working together with K&N filters.
The car’s suspension was also attacked, being hit by a lowering kit (we are talking about an air suspension here). The connection to the road wasn’t spares either, with the original rims being killed and replaced with a set of 19-inch DPE ST7s with a step lip. The rims use 225/35 tires for the front axle and 245/35 tires for the rear one.
Having dealt with the tech parts, he then decided to throw a carbon fiber grenade in the cabin, with multiple elements being hit.
Of course, the exterior couldn’t be spared of this aftermarket assault but the owner decided to use a silencer, not willing to make a mess. The SL received a burst of carbon fiber shots (front lip, rear SL630style spoiler and custom 1 slat front grille). The side markers were sent to another world, being replaced with clear ones, an 8k HID kit for with low beam and fog lights was fitted, with the final blow being delivered through a AMG hood badge.
