The upcoming W205 generation of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class its nearing its launch date, which will probably happen at the 2013 Geneva Auto Show at the latest. Daimler's engineers are still hard at work testing the camouflaged prototypes of the car, albeit the secrecy of their job is becoming quite a bit more transparent.
So transparent, in fact, that a trained eye can pretty much make out the entire model's design just by looking at these latest photos of the 2014 C-Class, spotted by our spy photographers in what appears to be a Mercedes-Benz testing facility.

Obviously, Mercedes-Benz peeps know that the car has been caught and the camo shedding is only part of an indirect teasing process, but let's not think too much about that.

As expected, the upcoming C-Class will look like a shrunken and a bit more muscular version of the W222 S-Class, with some of the Sonderklasse's technology also arriving on the BMW 3-Series and Audi A4 competitor as well.

Engine wise, we can expect an entire array of economical four and six-cylinders, the keywords across the entire range being direct injection with lean burn technology and turbocharging. There will also be at least two hybrids, with a plug-in version set to arrive at a later date as well.
