Probably the most anticipated release from AMG this fall was the brand new Mercedes-AMG GT. Sure, the C63 is also an impressive machine but the two-seater looks better and might attract a bigger crowd. Now, it was revealed that the Germans will also release a so-called Night Package.
After the introduction of the Edition 1 version, we were rather curious to learn what’s new on the Night Package fitted versions so we took a closer look.
As it turns out, the package includes a couple of exclusive visual feature that won’t be available on any other model, taking the looks of the car to a new level, offering an elegant look without going overboard with the modifications.
Up front there’s a gloss black spoiler lip perfectly complemented by the diamond grille that’s also done in black this time. Other black details include the bumper’s air intakes as well as the side vents, side mirror covers, and rear diffuser.
To top everything off, the roof was painted black as well along with a tinted rear window that gives the impression that it makes a uni-body with the roof.
The pricing for all of this is not as ridiculous as you might think, Mercedes asking just €952 ($1,200) for it. Add that to the €115,430 you have to pay for the standard GT guise in Germany and you’ll have to get at least €116,382 for a car that looks exactly like the one in the gallery below.
