Meet Dianna Dahlgren, the 2011 Miss Supercross

After Mercedes Terrell was elected Miss Supercross for two years in a row (2009 and 2010), it is now Dianna Dahlgren’s turn to wear the much coveted crown. The beautiful blonde had just been named Miss SX for the 2011 season, which kicks off January 8, in Anaheim.

“Dahlgren, a long-time supporter of the sport, has been a recognizable face on the Monster Energy Supercross scene for several years,” a statement from Feld Motor Sports reads.

In fact, Dahlgren has served as a Monster Energy girl at supercross races as well as a 30-second board girl who signals the launch of each heat, qualifier, and main event.

“I’m extremely excited to be appointed as the new Miss Supercross for the 2011 season,” stated Dahlgren. “I’ve been following supercross since my early years, so the opportunity to represent the sport and meet all the dedicated fans is a dream come true.”

“Being Miss Supercross gives you the chance to interact with people and fans from all over the USA! I can't wait to interview the riders, fans, and my coworkers!” she added.

Just like in Terrell’s case, Dahlgren will be the ambassador of the Monster Energy Supercross at 17 races of the 2011 season, representing the sport through a variety of promotional opportunities, as well as standing atop the podium alongside the world's fastest riders at the conclusion of each race. Dahlgren's duties will also include reporting from the pits with race and rider updates.

The 20-year-old blonde is from California, her favorite color is black and her favorite food is pizza and salads. Dahlgren is also a model and an IFBB (International Federation of Body Builders) Professional Athlete.
