The McLaren 12C is sad, really sad these days. After just three years of hooning service, the Brits decided to retire it in favor of the 650C. The latter is based on the 12C, with McLaren having initially announced the two would be offered alongside each other. Well, it seems that the 12C isn’t just going to sit there and watch its evolution take over. It wants some attention too so now it’s turned into a... five-seater.
Well, technically this is a three-seater, albeit in a different form than the McLaren F1, or any other three-seater in the world for that matter - a driver, a passenger and another person sitting in the luggage compartment. As for the remaining two persons, to them the Mac is a two-stander, as they stand on the door sills with the doors open.
Well, you can forget all about this complicated story. To put it in a simpler fashion, we have a video of a McLaren 12C driven by car spotter Shmee150, who takes no less than four girls aboard.
The rather cheesy move took place at the recent Cars and Cofee Torino event. As you could expect, the ride works as an attention magnet, with everybody around, from little boys to grandmothers, turning their heads. Jump over to the 4:10 mark for the hauling action.
