Max Biaggi Concludes Ducati Test

As we reported earlier, World Superbike champion Max Biaggi has tested the Ducati "lab bike" at Mugello, together with the other three Corse riders, Hayden, Dovizioso and Iannone.
Not having ridden a MotoGP-spec bike for 8 years led to the expected results: Biaggi was significantly slower than the recent best times of the track, as he did around 30 laps.

For example, Biaggi's 1.54-ish laps were no match for the 1.47.157 pole time Pedrosa had. The other Ducati drivers were faster at Mugello, as their laps were between 1.49 and 1.51.

However, if we count that Biaggi was not used at all with the Bridgestone tires and the MotoGP carbon brakes, we might say there is plenty of room for improvement. Now, even some MotoGP riders said that the Bridgestones are rather tricky to get acquainted to, so we might see better laps, in case Ducati will have Biaggi riding again the Desmosedici.

Is Max Biaggi becoming a Ducati test rider?
