The aeronautical industry is constantly making efforts to reduce the effect that airplanes have on the environment. The engineers have a difficult job, as their achievements must compensate for the ever increasing number of passengers who want to travel from one part of the world to another. But what if we asked designers to take care of the problem?
We’re not here to discuss aerodynamics, but to offer a fun perspective on individual flight. However, before starting the story, we must mention that we would’ve also liked to cover the tech side of the subject. This is because some of the icings on the street cars cake are borrowed from racing vehicles, which, in their turn, use aeronautical-inspired solutions. But let’s get back to the point.
As society becomes more open-minded, fashion designers can introduce more and more messages into the world of everyday clothing. This is why a team of... fantasy creators has decided to give birth to the special tees you see in the aforementioned image. The idea behind the project is simple: why use conventional air travel, when you can travel like Mary Poppins?
The T-shirts promote this idea that we could all have our own airline, or that one giant flying umbrella rental company could cater for our transportation needs. The luggage issue is also assessed: any flying person can only use a hand luggage, with the weight limit imposed by her or his own physical capabilities.
Our say: We’ll have a dozen in Stealth Black please.
