Since the TX2K14 came to an end now and all the horses spread around the whole country again, we resume our standard pursuit of finding great tuned Supras worth sharing around.
Today’s entry comes from Australia, where this garage-built banger tries to score 8 seconds at the Calder Park Raceway in Melbourne. There’s not much info on the build, all we know for now is that it belongs to a guy named Darren, it has a single-turbo 2JZ engine, 28-inch slick rear wheels, a chute attached to the trunk and most importantly, it has a six-speed manual gearbox.
Judging by how it moves around, this yellow bird probably makes well over 800 hp and it takes some real shifting skills to properly put all that power down and beat 10 seconds.
However, the guy here on the strip was actually trying to get past the line in around 8 seconds. He managed to do it just a bit over 9 seconds and we’re sure if he manages to control the wheelspin better, high 8s are simply waiting him at the finish line.
Check it out bellow and don’t forget to crank up the volume, because that 2JZ really loves to make its presence felt.
